Manhart Performance Group is renowned for taking high-performance vehicles and pushing their limits even further, specializing in tuning and modifying cars for enhanced power and dynamic handling. Known for their aggressive styling and precision engineering, Manhart focuses on creating standout variants of popular performance models, offering bespoke enhancements that make each build unique. Their latest creation, the MH2 450, takes BMW’s M240i, already a capable compact coupe, and transforms it into a more powerful, visually striking machine.
The MH2 450 isn’t based on the top-tier BMW M2 but rather the M240i, which comes equipped with a 3.0-liter B58 inline-six engine. Manhart pushes this engine’s performance significantly, using their in-house developed MHtronik powerbox to raise its output from the stock 374 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque to an impressive 440 horsepower and 600 Nm. This increase, combined with a GRAIL rear silencer featuring valve control and four signature 100-millimeter Manhart tailpipes, gives the MH2 450 both a performance boost and an upgraded acoustic profile. For those looking for even more power, Manhart offers additional Stage 2 and Stage 3 upgrades.
Visually, the MH2 450 stands out with Manhart’s signature touches, including carbon fiber front spoilers, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a rear spoiler. The car sits lower, thanks to Manhart lowering springs or an optional Variant 4 coilover suspension by KW, giving it more aggressive handling and stance. The 20-inch Concave One wheels, which can be customized in color, complete the look, while inside, the steering wheel is updated with a leather and Alcantara cover, black lacquered spokes, and Manhart carbon shift paddles, rounding off a truly tailored driving experience.
