The second-generation RX7 was introduced in 1985, and it was a significant improvement over the first generation. The second-generation RX7 featured a more powerful 1.3-liter rotary engine that produced 146 horsepower. The car also had improved handling and braking, making it a more capable sports car. The second-generation RX7 was also more aerodynamic than its predecessor, with a drag coefficient of just 0.31.
