4th Generation - The Iconic A80 Supra
The fourth-generation Supra was introduced in 1993 and was the most powerful Supra ever produced. The styling was updated to be more angular, and the car was longer and wider than before. The engine was upgraded to a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that produced 320 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The Supra was available with a six-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
In 1993, the Supra received another major update, which included a new engine and styling. The engine was upgraded to a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that produced 320 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The styling was also updated to be more aggressive, with a new front end and rear spoiler.
The Supra was discontinued in 2002, and Toyota did not produce a new model for nearly two decades. However, the Supra was revived in 2019 with the introduction of the fifth-generation model.
