NISMO's Formula E

In the first season of Formula E, DAMS and Renault joined forces to create Team e.dams Renault, becoming the inaugural Formula E Team’s Champion. After the 2017-18 season, Renault shifted its focus to Formula One, and Nissan took over Renault’s position in the partnership with e.dams. Thus, the team became Nissan e.dams for the 2018-19 season. In April 2022, Nissan further solidified its involvement by acquiring the e.dams race team, and they entered the 2022-23 season as the Nissan Formula E Team.
