Texas-based Hennessey Special Vehicles has created an exceptionally bold and fiery variant of their already outrageous Venom F5, widely recognized as the world’s fastest production car. Unveiled at The Quail, this highly personalized and groundbreaking Venom F5 also represents the very first commission from the newly launched “Maverick” customer commission division. Working hand-in-hand with Maverick, American entrepreneur Louis Florey personally specified every detail of his car, fully showcasing the division’s capabilities and potential.

This commission combines Hennessey’s latest Evolution package with an open-top F5 configured in the track-focused “Revolution” specification. Its exterior draws from the exclusive “Stealth Series,” featuring exposed carbon fiber tinted in Coco Brown, River Sand metallic paint, and body-colored triple stripes running along the hood and rear. These elements are paired with a bespoke aerodynamics package finished in black. Together, they preview key bodywork enhancements from the upcoming Venom F5 Evolution, including a redesigned front splitter, reshaped dive planes, re-sculpted fender louvres, a newly engineered rear deck with an integrated lip spoiler, and a taller rear wing.

To ensure that the advanced aerodynamics perform at their peak, Hennessey equipped the car with their new 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 “Fury” engine, producing an astonishing 2,031 bhp. Even more remarkably, this powerhouse is controlled by a customer-specified manual transmission featuring an H-pattern gated shifter. Beneath the body, the hypercar rides on a next-generation carbon monocoque known as “Cell_2,” which improves structural stiffness, driver ergonomics, and pedal box geometry.
