The TWR Performance V-12 Super-GT is a breathtaking reinterpretation of the Jaguar XJS, blending classic heritage with modern performance and design ingenuity. Unlike traditional restomods, this project is more of a “resto-refresh,” honoring the XJS’s roots while elevating it into a contemporary masterpiece. Under the hood lies a supercharged 6.0-liter V12 engine that churns out a staggering 660 bhp and 730 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission for an engaging driving experience. This level of performance, combined with a lightweight carbon-fiber body, transforms the iconic luxury coupe into a true Grand Tourer capable of competing with modern-day supercars.

Designed in collaboration with automotive icons Magnus Walker and digital artist Khyzyl Saleem (Kyza), the Super-GT pays homage to the XJS’s original lines while injecting bold, futuristic aesthetics. Key design elements, like its aggressive stance, wide arches, and aerodynamically sculpted bodywork, blend classic elegance with cutting-edge technology. The carbon-fiber construction not only reduces weight but also ensures superior rigidity and enhanced performance. The Super-GT’s 88-unit production run solidifies its exclusivity, with each car meticulously hand-built to meet bespoke client preferences, making it as much an artistic statement as it is a performance machine.

The interior offers a harmonious blend of retro charm and modern luxury, featuring high-quality materials, advanced infotainment systems, and precision craftsmanship. The design team drew inspiration from motorsport heritage, incorporating cues from the original TWR Jaguar race cars, which competed in the European Touring Car Championship during the 1980s. Subtle nods to Jaguar’s history, such as a reimagined grille and TWR-branded details, connect this futuristic Super-GT to its storied past. Offered globally, the TWR V-12 Super-GT is a celebration of automotive artistry, delivering an unparalleled blend of power, exclusivity, and timeless design.

The influence of industry icons like Magnus Walker and Kyza adds undeniable credibility, each bringing their unique style to the project while respecting the essence of the Jaguar XJS. Beneath the aggressive body lines and bold design choices, it’s the supercharged V12 and 6-speed manual that truly steal the spotlight, offering a visceral driving experience that gear heads dream of. In an era where electrification is steadily taking over, cars like this remind us that there’s still room for analog thrills in the modern automotive landscape.
