Nissan’s performance division, Nismo, offered three exclusive tuning packages for the GT-R R34, each bringing its unique enhancements to the table. The S-Tune provided minor performance upgrades, while the R-Tune pushed the boundaries further with improved handling and power. However, the most legendary of all was the Z-Tune, a limited-production, fully overhauled model with a 500 horsepower engine, carbon fiber body panels, and upgraded aerodynamics.

The Z-Tune represented the pinnacle of the GT-R R34’s performance and remains one of the most sought-after and valuable GT-R variants in existence. It was based on the V-Spec II Nür but underwent a meticulous transformation at Nismo’s facilities. The RB26DETT engine was completely overhauled and increased in displacement to 2.8 liters, enabling it to generate a jaw-dropping 500 horsepower. The body underwent extensive modifications, with lightweight carbon fiber panels and aerodynamic enhancements, resulting in improved downforce and reduced drag. Every Z-Tune was meticulously hand-built by Nismo’s expert craftsmen, ensuring the utmost attention to detail. Limited to just 20 units, the Nismo Z-Tune stands as a shining example of automotive engineering prowess, forever etching its name in the halls of automotive history as one of the most revered and rarest GT-Rs ever produced
