In 1992, Ferrari introduced the Testarossa 512TR (TR standing for “TestaRossa”), which was essentially an evolution of the original Testarossa. The 512TR addressed some of the shortcomings of its predecessor, particularly in terms of refinement and performance. The engine was reworked to produce approximately 422 horsepower and 362 lb-ft (491 Nm) of torque, resulting in improved acceleration and top speed. The car’s handling and ride quality were also enhanced, making it a more driver-focused and enjoyable experience.
