Sixteen Candles (1985): 1984 Porsche 944

A coming-of-age comedy film starring Molly Ringwald, Michael Schoeffling and Anthony Michael Hall, Sixteen Candles follows Samantha “Sam” Baker’s (Molly Ringwald) teenage life and her crush on Jake Ryan (Michael Schoeffling), a high school senior. Unfortunately, there aren’t many driving scenes with the red Porsche 944, primarily used as a prop in a couple of shots. Still, the 944 coupled with pop culture helped define the 80s culture.
