Maserati’s halo car, first revealed in 2020, has now evolved into the stunning new Maserati MCPURA. Unveiled at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this masterpiece is proudly 100% made in Italy at the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena.

At the heart of this next step in Maserati’s flagship lineage is the now-iconic 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine. Producing 630 CV at 7,500 rpm and 720 Nm of torque from 3,000 rpm, its lightweight construction—thanks to a carbon fiber monocoque—keeps the total weight under 1,500 kg. The result is an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 210 CV per liter. The Nettuno engine also features Maserati’s patented pre-chamber combustion system with a twin spark plug design. Originally derived from Formula 1 technology, this exclusive Maserati innovation brings cutting-edge performance to a road-going engine.

Both the MCPURA Coupé and MCPURA Cielo debuted at Goodwood sporting unique body colors created through Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program. The Coupé wore a striking matte Ai Aqua Rainbow finish, while the MCPURA Cielo showcased the same color in a gloss finish. Customers can choose from an even broader palette, including solid, metallic, three-layer, four-layer, and matte options. Inside, the seats are wrapped in Alcantara Ice and laser-etched with the iconic Maserati trident, creating a stunning iridescent blue-and-red effect. Another hallmark feature of the MCPURA is its dramatic butterfly doors, designed to improve cabin access while revealing the carbon fiber chassis. The MCPURA Cielo further elevates the experience with a retractable roof made from polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) glass, which transitions from opaque to transparent in just one second.

Available immediately in both coupé and convertible versions, the MCPURA is crafted at Maserati’s historic Modena plant, where the Nettuno engine and the GT2 Stradale are also produced. With the addition of the recently opened Officine Maserati Fuoriserie, customers now have access to an unprecedented level of bespoke customization to make their MCPURA truly one-of-a-kind.
