Rich Scheer, design director at Chevrolet Performance, emphasizes the significance of the Panther code name, stating, “We found it fitting for this Collector’s Edition Camaro to officially recognize the significance of the original code name and share it with Camaro enthusiasts.” The influence of the Panther name can be seen in the choice of colors: Panther Black Metallic for the SS trim and Panther Matte Black for the ZL1 trim.

The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition enhances the LT/RS, LT1, and SS trims with exclusive features. A striking Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint adorns the exterior, complemented by Satin Black accent stripes. The LT/RS, LT1, and SS trims can be equipped with 20-inch Satin Black wheels or optional Polished Forged Wheels. Additionally, the front splitter from the 1LE package and the ZL1 package’s rear spoiler are included on coupes.

For the limited-edition ZL1 Collector’s Edition, which boasts an impressive 650 horsepower LT4 engine, the exterior showcases the Panther Black Matte paint. This marks the first time Chevrolet offers a matte paint finish from the factory for the Camaro. The ZL1 also features the front splitter from the ZL1 1LE and the ZL1 1LE’s rear wing on coupes. The Black Metallic ZL1 stripe, red brake calipers, and black lug nuts complete the distinctive exterior appearance. Inside, all 350 Collector’s Edition ZL1 vehicles receive a serialized steering wheel badge denoting their place in the production sequence.

Owners of the Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition are in for an additional treat. They will receive a bespoke Canfield Sport 45mm watch from Shinola, specially crafted to commemorate the Collector’s Edition. The watch features an inscribed serial number that matches the number on their vehicle’s steering wheel badge. Designed with the same ebonized presence as the 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition, the watch showcases Camaro and panther motifs, from the engraved panther on the watch band to the Camaro logo on the watch face.
