Nakai embarked on his automotive journey alongside a drift crew known as Rough World, where he pushed the boundaries of performance with a Trueno AE86, all while savoring his favorite beer, Stella Artois. It was during his time working at a body shop that he stumbled upon a damaged Porsche 930, which he acquired from its original owner. This fateful encounter marked the beginning of Nakai’s association with Porsches and laid the foundation for the inaugural RWB Porsche, affectionately named ‘Stella Artois’ after his beloved beer, in the late 1990s. This pivotal moment, coupled with Nakai’s personal touch, sparked his creativity and set him on a path to create more awe-inspiring projects inspired by his passion for Stella Artois and automotive excellence.

By the late 1990s, Nakai founded his own company called RAUH Welt BEGRIFF (RWB) in the heart of Japan, where he began crafting his signature custom body kits for Porsche 911s. His vision was driven by a deep passion for automotive excellence and an unwavering commitment to artistic expression. Nakai’s philosophy centered on transforming each Porsche into a unique masterpiece, fusing elements of form and function in perfect harmony.

The creation of an RWB Porsche is an intricate and meticulous process that takes place entirely by hand. Nakai meticulously sculpts the wide-body kits, shaping them to enhance the car’s aerodynamics and create a visual impact that is both awe-inspiring and unmistakably RWB. The design typically features aggressively flared fenders, pronounced front and rear bumpers, and a prominent rear wing, resulting in a striking visual presence that demands attention.

However, RWB is more than just a visual overhaul; it also focuses on enhancing performance. Nakai’s modifications often include suspension upgrades, brake enhancements, and engine tuning to provide a thrilling driving experience that matches the car’s arresting aesthetics. This comprehensive approach elevates RWB Porsches to a new level of exhilaration.
